Toronto author and photographer Terence Wallis’ coffee table book showcases the best of Italy

TORONTO, ON (Nov. 20, 2018) – Christmas markets, warmer weather and historic locations with less tourists – Toronto author, photographer and avid traveller Terence Wallis suggests there is no better time to visit Italy than during the holidays.
“I find the Christmas season is a great time to travel because when you go out, there is a festive and family mood in the air,” says Terence, whose coffee table book, Una Storia D'amore! showcases a decades-long love affair with Italy through photographs of some of Italy's 20 regions. “It’s a slower, quieter pace to life and because there are fewer tourists, you’re not having to line up for everything so it's a much more enjoyable experience.”
Terence has travelled extensively throughout Italy for more than two decades and has spent Christmas in Italy a few times. He recommends skiing in the Italian Alps (there is generally plenty of snow), enjoying small village life and checking out the many Christmas markets.
Not to mention, “there are lots of blue sky days and, depending on where you go, great weather so it's easy to get out and explore.”
Una Storia D'amore! is a 222-page full-colour book which offers a map of the regions Terence highlights in his photographs, along with information about the area and recommendations of places to visit, including off-the-beaten path locations.
